New 17" alloys. Do i need to mod.

    There is nothing wrong with 17's, at the end of the day it is what makes you happy that counts.

    They do look rather familiar. Stunning. Did you need to mod the arches. I didnt, they were fine. How much lowered is yours?.

    Cheers, i haven't needed to mod the arches yet, but it is only lowered 40mm. My rear wheels are spaced out 9mm each and they don't rub either. I will need to hack the arches when she's lowered 80mm though!

    Got any plans for yours?

    Two statements for this thread

    ROLLCENTRE

    TYRE PROFILES

    When you understand both then you will realise why lowering WILL reduce body roll and that a taller tyre profile DOES result in better handling.

    i think some nice origonal 14" wheels would look great. although i suppose it better 17's on a mk2 than on a P reg corsa like my friend did lol
