Just seen it on TV. Starts just like a clip of "Singing in the rain" then some beat drops in from somewhere and the guy starts doing some wicked robot/body popping stylee dancing. All ends with a brief shot on the MkV GTi and him dancing next to it with a policeman looking on. Cut to slogan: "New Golf GTI, the original, updated" Wicked. Well done to the marketing bods at VW.
Yup, seen it last night. A simple, decent slogan and a good ad overall Refreshing change, compared to the usual crappy ads that are associated with cars nowadays.
Ive always liked VW ads. The latest Polo and Lupo ads were great. The diesel ones were also good. The Mk5 GTI ad is fantastic though.
