New guy

Hello everyone.

A newbie to the whole veedub scene and I've gone and popped my virgin veedubbing with a mk2 GTi 8 Valve. Currently an MOT failure but in good enough knick to save and got it for a good price.

Needs a fair amount of work done on it before its on the road but a low price allows me to spend more!lol

So again hello and hope to see sme of you at shows when it's back on the road!

Growler a nickname from college I'm guessing because after a heavy night in the morning my voice sounded like a tinfoil factory!

Nealey to make it roadworthy a MOT would be a start but it needs a drivers wheel arch and inner wing, drivers sill and drivers lower rear corner and new headliner but i believe a headliner is a common gti fault!lol

His car is green, and he uses the remaining paint as make up, like so:



There is possibly a connection between the green demeanour and 16v power outputs, but I'm speculating!

First he b0110cks the true faith, (8-VALVE, for only he has a torque curve to match 020 ratios), for scaring the new guys.

Now he posts his morning after photos.

Only valvers have ears so narrow they cannot hear the call to true faith.

when you finaly see the light and disregard all that 8v phaff I have a dyno proven 153bhp kr that will fit nicely in that bay
