hello i have managed to remove the old ignition barrell (see my previous thread) what a bloody job to do - i could not remove the barrell at first but in the end i managed to force it out without much damage to its casing - but ihave run into another problem - before installing the new barrell should i have ould i have engaged ensured that the steering lock was engaged ? once i installed the new barrell every thing seemed ok until i realised that the steering lock would not engage - and guess what the new barrell would not come out again - it ended up i damaged it trying to remove it - so today i have ordered another lock set. - again should i have engaged the steering lock prior to fitting the barrell ? is there another method that i should have used or was it a poor quality lock set to begin with.

    help will be much appreciated
