Hello all. Been a member of ClubGTI for just over a year now, but only just registered for the forum today. I've been posting on the DemonVW forum for a couple of months (Limeyron). Anybody here post there? Just thought I'd pop my head in and say hi. So...HI!

I'm sure if I can post at DemonVW for over 2 months, I can hack it here. You should see what that lot are like! In the words of Ozzy himself...'You're all f****n' mad'. Nuff said.
Darren - I've got meself a Mk1 Golf 1800 8v GTI (1983 model). White, BBS body kit, clear rear clusters and front indicators, crappy ol' 5 spokes, swiss cheese for an air box I think that's about it. The body kit and wheels were on it when I bought it last may. Passed my test in August, car broke in September, got a new lump September/October (it helps to know people ), broke again in October. Been sitting outside my house since. NOT a happy bunny. No dosh to fix the damn thing and I'm still trying to get hold of an accumulator. I'm thinking that because I've got a later model, that the early Mk2's have got the same accumulator and I can get one of those because I'm having no luck finding one from a Mk1.
How the hell do you do quotes on this damn thing? So easy on the DemonVW site..... [:^(]

Oooh, and one more thing. Is there an option I select so I get notified of any posts in any of the threads I'm posting in? Still finding my feet. No chance with this huge gut in the way tho Only jokin' All help will be greatly appreciated

Rebuilt standard block, can't afford much to up the power at the mo.

60mm at the mo but going lower over the summer.

currently 135mph on a rolling road, on a normal road 120mph

very, origional rainbow trim and damn good for long journeys, or twisty country lanes. (increased camber + lowering = )
