Noting the number plate RS branding - Could this be a hint to the next installment of the performance orientated approach VW seem to be taking? Sporting similar (if not the same) front bumper and side skirt design as the excellently titled "Thunderbunny" concept (see images blow), which debuted at the 2006 SEMA show in Vegas. Could this of been a first peak at the new model?
I heard the R36 engine was too big to fit a Mk5, i could be wrong????????? Does look similar to the thunderbunny
the V6 3.6 a lot bigger the head/manifolds that the 3.2 from what I recall (not seen one for 12month! ) might be a RSI which could be anything, I'd guess as a 2L FSI chipped up bit more, possibly a the 2L TSI engine I've heard about, or even a 3.2 pity it's wearing TDI alloys
I hope it says RSI as opposed to RS, as RS just reminds me of Fords. Looks good though whatever it is!
