This is getting my goat. on my MK II everytime it rains heavily there is about 10 cm of water in both back footwells and the thing is sodden through. The seals look fine, the door plastic is ok and not wet. I have looked at the drainage holes under the bonnet from the top and they seem ok. Any ideas where the water is coming from and how the hell it is getting into the back seats. I have tried the onslught of a hose pipe but to no avial. someone must be champion enough to have an answer ! A bit more - there is no sunroof and the holes look entirely clear (at the top) Edited by: theupperchase
Is it a 5 door? Look under your seals to check the metal is ok. If all else fails pull the carpet out and go thorugh a high foam drive through kinda car wash
