New owner of 89' small bumper golf gti :)

Hi everyone,

Happy to join the club. My car had a sticker of the club on it so joined. Are there any events coming up?

The person who sold it had no paperwork or previous owner details, so curious to see if anyone had come across it in the club before.

Have spent around 2000 since I got it last month of welding and parts. It's a joy to drive.

My car is F749 HGE blue small bumper GTI. Would be happy to learn more.

Spot on. Yes from ebay! It ran and drive but had massive electrical and rust issues few days on. It's thankfully no more a money pit and is amazing to have. Getting it MOT'd this week hopefully.
