    I like it, just wondering how much of a premium is going to be added on over a regular Passat.

    hopefully they won't milk it too much, unlikely though. the passat seems fairly well priced as it stands now.

    How do get the CC to be the lower end when if you go spec for spec the CC is over 3k dearer!!!

    Exactly what I was thinking... :lol:

    From the link you`ve provided;

    So the new `top-end` will have the current `low-end` interior?...me thinks someone is mixed up... ;)

    I love driving the CC, my only thing I don't like it there getting rid of the 2 seat bench and dropping on a 3 seater
    not sure if this is across the CC board

    the R Line in normal passat is not a great spec, lighter rear window mechanisms ( keep fit windows ;):lol:)

    the R36 is a whole different beast, which I've not driven yet but the 3.2L DGS 4-Motion Estate was/is always my favorite model

    Only forwarding what I've read on the net! (and to be fair VW regurgitating the interior out of the CC isn't going to appeal to our REP drivers...they'll want plusher :p) I'm assuming there will be a Phaeton'esque top spec version? I prefer the look of the CC but who know's. Watch this space!

    Those passats are the ugliest thing VW have ever produced (imo), and yes I do know about the Thing.

    Sat in one yesterday at Bristol Volksfest... so plush inside! I want one! The spec went up to a V6 GT so either r36, vr6 or something along those lines [:D]
