(Newbie) Mk2 Head Unit wiring

    I've got a Haynes from eBay - but anyone else find the electric wiring diagrams confusing???


    Just after the right wires to connect up a HU, I think it's these:
    <UL>
    <LI>Switched +12v: Red</LI>
    <LI>Continuous +12v: Grey/Blue</LI>
    <LI>Ground -12V: Brown</LI>[/list]


    Please correct me if I'm wrong!

    red = permanant 12v+
    red black, usually not present, take a feed fro fusebox etc, ign live 12v+
    brown ground
    grey/blue illumination
