    Hi

Thinking of making the most of the favourable dollar rate, and getting a cheap satnav unit whilst on hols in the US. Something like a TomTom One or Garmin StreetPilot C330. Obviously they're pre-loaded with US maps, and all I'd like to know is whether it's a simple procedure to download and install UK maps (I'd be using torrents, not paying)

I've read somewhere that the Garmin can't be uploaded as you need a legit code, but not read anything similar about the TomTom.

Any general advice would be most welcome

    Cheers

With tomtom you can get the uk maps from them at a cost of 70 (might be wrong on the price)
