Looking at getting our first GTI (MkV) this weekend but want to get some expert help in advance. This one's an '07 demo with 7k miles on it. My question is...what should I ask the dealer about (in terms of scheduled service) to make sure it's been done? Thanks all.

    Cheers! - tj

try asking if it has been serviced.

i would have thought that a dealer would look after any car that they own and use but just ask the question and ask for proof of any work done.

good luck with the purchase and welcome to cgti.

I'd want at least an oil change done before you pick up but other than that it won't have reached a service interval yet...

x2, expect its on longlife anyway. Get some freebies. Any work that has been done on it will be on dialog and if it had by chance had a service ovbiously check the service book. ;)
