Hi! So I'm desperately looking for some help. I have a mk2 Golf 16v and my under-car fuel pump housing has split. The problem ishat I cannot geta replacement from anywhere. Is there anyway of fueling without using original parts? Thanks
Welcome If it`s the actual fuel pump the give http://www.kmipetrolinjection.co.uk a call. http://www.vwheritage.com/vw_act_vwclassicparts.home.htm ... if it`s the outer housing.
It's the actual housing, the black box. VWHeritage don't do them (and if they did I'd have to sell the car to pay for it...)
These guys are usually good on price for second hand parts http://www.stevensvwspares.com/ You can get an online quote but usually easier to give them a call. They can tell you there and then whether they have one in stock.
Somebody's posted a parts for sale ad offering K-jet fuelling parts http://www.clubgti.com/showthread.php?270211-MK2-GTI-8V-KJet-Engine-Parts&p=2324763#post2324763
corrado kr/9a fuel assembly will work, just get the whole thing as on some the layout is slightly different. an alternative is use a mk1 golf inline type kjet pump with a mk1 cab/scirocco/g40 shape polo/aftermarket fuel reservoir bolted underneath using a mk3 golf filter carrier or something custom
