Hi Im new to the site and thinking about buying a mk4 golf but not sure on weather to go for a gti or tdi ?? Thought id do my home work before I go out and just buy any old rubbish Could you guys give me a guide on what to look for when buying, and any common faults that golfs have thanks in advance for you help ryan
Gti. Still cant stand the noise of a TDi. Plus all that black crap that comes out of them. ****es me off when im in traffic and have a diesel in front. So from a refinement point of view I would still go with GTi for now.
Depends on your weekly miles too I guess. I could get a GTI much cheaper than a TDI but need the economy at the minute. [:^(]
