so anyway i got one of these for my DS... http://www.model-gadget.com/shop/pr...d=718&osCsid=015811410ef88c5e398f1fa6e40384a9 well lets just say i will never have to buy another game again!!! get on a ds rom site... download all the games you want... i have 10 games on it at the moment, shame i barely ever touch the DS!! if anyone wants rom sites pm me... cant really put them up on here could get in trouble...
I had one for the GBA but wasn't sure which type to get for the DS because when they 1st came out you had to have a few originals because the save game slot in the copy cartridge had to be the same size as the original. but maybe they got around that now? Any issues so far with various games (various mb size) or is it all fine? Can you explain to me the procedure to get it to run. 1. what plugs into where for: 1a. to copy the game 1b. to play the game on the DS my GBA one had a reader that plugs into the pc & you plug the blank into that. 35.50 seems strangely cheap because last time i checked it was about 100 for the older type full kit last year. edit: if it works well i may order one writer & three or four 1gb cartridges to use between the family
I had a PSP and sold it...never hardly played on the thing and as for watching films - that's what I got a tv for. I've had a couple of goes on the DS and was impressed with it compared to the PSP. If I was going to buy either of the two now it would definatly be the DS.
yeah i can explain if you want... so far it has worked perfectly with all games at the moment on the 1gb card alone i have mamas cookin mr driller bomberman resident evil metroid prime elektroplankton tetris DS diddy kong racing a few MP3s yes you can save progress basically you remove the micro SD card from the DS cartridge, put the micro SD into the usb reader (comes with it), put the cd in your pc, drag the english files files on the cd into the micro SD card. download the roms you want (about 5 to 25 mb each), drag them onto the micro sd card then put it all back again.. put the cart in the nintendo ds and turn it on! done! when you start the game it prompts you... would you like to make a save folder? all games work 100% so far
Result, contacted them & got this quote for myself: Hi, All order will be ship out from surrey, UK. 1x M3ds + 3x Micro SD(1GB) = 54.80 + 6.50 postage 1x M3ds + 3x Micro SD(2GB) = 69.80 + 6.50 postage So i might order a copier & few of the 2gb carts on the weekend
I downloaded Red Dwarf as some DPG files & chucked it on there today to see if it worked, Moonshell played it quite well. pmsl so can't be a bad thing
Just gat a ds light. Taking a PSP on teh plane to aus will be good for 3 hours till the battery dies. I had one it was awful for battery. DS lite just goes and goes and goes. Handheld consoles are and will never be about graphics. That why we have 360s an PS3's its about gameplay. Nintendo owns that front hands down. Mario kart, mario bros. Final fantasy is epic if you liek that kinda thing. Also cooking mama is the most fun game i have EVER played on a handheld. got mine ready for canada in a few weeks.
Is it me, or is MarioKart the only decent racer on the ds? Also anyone got any suggestions for good games? I've got: Madden 07 MarioKart Tony Hawks Sk8land Hotel Room 108 (or something like that) Cartoon Network Racers (game is a bit poo, but it's got different characters) Worms Armorgeddon.
have a read up on these: lunar knights metroid prime hunters metroid prime pinball mario & luigi partners in time star fox command contact & legend of zelda phantom hour glass when it's released soon (been playing the jap one here) hotel dusk is good
controls on metroid are so hard to get used to, heard good things about that new zelda and also mario and luigi
