Hi Guys I have an intermittant issue with my rev counter, its a bit noisy sometimes when accelerating. Do you think a new speedo cable would solve this issue or something a bit more drastic?
Is it like a dry bearing sort of a noise? Could need a squirt of silicone grease down the back. Otherwise could be worth checking the cable end is pushed all the way home in the speedo drive.
I just put a new one in and is quite noisey. Take it out and lubricate it if its winding you up........ or just turn the radio up!
