i think you can rent a big bottle from b.o.c.,and decant into smaller bottles with a connector line,,,i would imagine having a big exsplosive gas bottle in the garage would affect the house insurance?

I Wouldn't want to be storing large amounts of NOS in or close to my home.

You keep it in your house and make sure one of the valves has a small leak. This way you will have one of the happiest houses in your street.

whats wrong with storing NOS, most people have a lethal gas supply being piped in!

Mucha, it's a striaght forward process, you're going to need some gauges too with the main bottle. I'll double check with my bro, he was a cryogenics engineer on a Lox's plant a few years back.

I think the key phrase when you talk about gas already been pumped into our homes is 'DIY'

    Hello

just spotted this thread, i had a Cryogen pump which was good when people turned on for refills. filled a bottle in 5 mins.

But the good old fashioned way is to Freeze the Small 10lb or 11lb bottle over night and then connect to the large mother bottle from nitrous oxide supplies and fill by gravity.

    http://www.nitrousoxidesupplies.co.uk/automotive/

Due to the frozen small bottle the pressure is lower and it fills within 2 minutes.

no need for a cryogen pump if your not in a rush. [:D]

Cryogen pumps are 800 or Chest freezer 80
