Hi everyone, recently I have just finished rebuilding the 2.4D on my T4 and replaced the o2b box with another from an earlier T4, having renewed every bush and joint in the gear selector rods and adjusted the clamps so many times, I decided to look at the selector rod in the gearbox, when i took the tower off and the rod popped halfway out I could see right away that it was different from the one from my original o2b box, can anyone tell me if the rods are interchangeable with a later type rod and tower, many thanks for any one reading this.
