So as part of my mk2 troubles the obd port doesn't seem to work with vagcom or a diagnostics tools, as part of the vagtronics loom there's a bank of 6 fuses all which seem fine to me. Any ideas? Got a multi meter at the ready but if anyone in the Wolverhampton area is free this week and willing to help that would be great! Cheers
does the little led on your vagcom port light up when plugged in? if not check the live and earth, red/white and brown on a stock vagcom port. then you should have your grey/white diagnostics wire back to ecu, what code is it?
Yea it lights up it wasn't my vagcom, I put a request for a group for it as a few people asked in the last thread What code do you mean? Standard ecu if you mean that, however I'm unsure what type it is?
I mean is it an agu or aum/auq, or other code. I only need to know so i can let you know what ecu pin to check
