Hi guys spotted this on the bay up for sale and just wondered if anyone know of this car or if the engines a genuine oenttinger 2.0 16v. the engine looks exactly the same as mine?(pic's aren't that great to be honest) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GOLF-MK-2-/25...CarParts_SM&hash=item3a5c41d309#ht_742wt_1137 the guys spelling's really good though. geoff
thats not an oettinger it says in the ad that its an ogentga engine which if you ask me is even rarer!
just googled oettinger and found they'r ebay shop got alot of vr6 and mk1 stuff for sale. http://stores.ebay.de/Oettinger-Performance-GmbH and a 16v inlet manifold http://translate.googleusercontent.....co.uk&usg=ALkJrhjIGkk6KJjz4mNkp6VqeQooBrIGgA
440 euro's for a 16v manifold that wouldn't fit a 16v..? It looks awfully like an 8v manifold to me, nevermind the fact how could it be worth over 400 euro.

Rare ARSEN WENGER 16V can't believe this golf is so fast.. got to go cos my nans brothers nieces, best friend needs money in Ugandan dollars to get a bus ticket to America to visit his stepdads cousin who is "working" in prison
I think this inlet manifold is for the turbo conversion on the Oettinger engines. You can see the flange on it is the same as the ones in Mushy's pics. It has the little water ways in between the ports. http://translate.googleusercontent.....co.uk&usg=ALkJrhjIGkk6KJjz4mNkp6VqeQooBrIGgA
Now that's very nice. Wouldn't have thought there'd be much clearance between the inlet manifold and the bonnet though.
