i know its been asked before mate, but what are you using to do them?

i was thinking doing one in cubase, and using each track as a deck so to speak, and importing the mp3's in. this way i could use my midi controller to mix in and out of the tracks in real time, and add a load of effects and sample etc.

the only prob with that is getting the bpm of both tracks the same which would involve a lot of playing about with time stretching, and as you may or may not know, takes aaaaages :) (but also changes the bpm without changing the pitch :))

Yes it does take a while - I use Acid Pro 6.

Can be labourious sometimes but you have a lot of control over the mixing. It allows you to cut in and out of tracks whilst bpm matching etc.

It also is good for adding extras into tracks as it is a full editor etc.

    Software is made by Sony

    Dunno, don't use em ;)

I have limited knowledge of how to use it as it seems to do what I want with a little bit of playing with actual tempos.

As I use mainly just the intros and outros of a standard track I only tend to mix through between 20 and 60 seconds.

I just load em up and start playing and fine tuning the 0.000 speed ranges whilst using the natrual fade in out controls

    Sorry, not much help.

It's software that a lot of people that do mash-ups use because of the way it allows you to really mix up seperate tracks ;)
