    It's a standard mk3 with a roof rack and steel wheels. why on earth was it photographed in the first place?

    What that needs is a nice set of 17's lose the roof rack and a nice exhaust. Then it might look presentable. Leave the old school stuff to the air cooled boys, and the early watercooleds.
