I have fitted a one touch 3 flash module and i dont like how it works. It has four wires power and ground plus r and l turn signal. The turn signal wires i spliced in black/white and black/green from stalk.

Problem one- when it flashes after i give impuls on the stalk there is no indication that it flashes, only outside bulbs work. This module switches with transistors so no relay click, dash led doesnt light.
Problem two- when i turn left or right the module and turn relay fight eachother for 2 clicks then module turns off. I believe the module monitors a signal too long and thus turns on after a full blink, and it shouldnt. Or i have noticed the first flash on the relay is very short and maybe triggering the module 100 to 300ms window.
Module is based on a 8 pin pic. It is a keetec tripling.
    Any ideeas? Thanks.

I have tried positive on the green wire to the cluster, but didnt like it, it was shorting or the relay was buzzing, i cant remenber witch.
Maybe i could fit a diode to isolate the signal from relay, that is my next move.

Are the notoriously unreliable mk2 indicator stalks OK with a half press?

Excellent. It's one thing I always miss in my mk2, as I drive a mk5 and a new Gen Caddy mostly.

I got the dash led to work with the blinker module but had to fit a 4 pin relay to convert the positive signal from bulbs to negative for the dash led, plus 2 diodes to separate left/right signal. I have isolated the relay because i hear them both clicking. First 1-2 flashes are still mixed up but not a big deal.
I only wish it blinked 5 times instead of three.
Too much hassle to reprogram the eeprom, some other time maybe.
