   my 1.8 auto cabriolet (has mk2 1.8 auto engine) overheated yesterday... i only filled it up with water a few weeks ago... so its obviously boiling the water...
   
   
   would this be because the water pump isnt working right?

   impeller on the pump buggered or your head gasket is going/gone
