    I think it's saying that B2 (bank 2?)
(guessing this is 2 separate exhaust manifolds each with O2 sensors and catalysts?)

has reached the lower trim limit. Fuelling has been reduced by x amount but system still reading rich (too much fuel)

Is the engine modified at all?

just got to think what would cause sensor to read high

damaged sensor, leaky injector, misfire, something affecting air flow, variable intake not operating?

thats right but you have 4 O2 sensors two on each bank one per cat and one post cat

i would think this is one of the post cat O2 sensors but dont quote me on it

it could be a number of things air leak after the maf /O2 sensor or it's the wiring/maf
i think i would look for any air leaks first check the vac and inlet hose and the inlet manifold joint

    17607 = P1199
O2 Sensor Heater Circ.,Bank2-Sensor2 Electrical Malfunction

The heater element in your Bank2 O2 sensor is faulty,
This affects the readings from this sensor, and could be the cause of the other fault (17537 P1129Long Term Fuel Trim B2 System Too Rich)

    Bank 2, pre-cat sensor

Heater circuit error suggests it is time for a new sensor.

are you sure that is pre cat

as Sensor2 is post cat and Sensor1 is pre cat is it not

if it was the per cat sensor1 you would get

17511/P1103 Oxygen Lambda Sensor Heating B1 S1 Performance too Low

17516 P1108 Oxygen Lambda Sensor Heating B2 S1 Performance too Low

i am no expert but that's how i see it

I copied and pasted that without even reading it said the sensor number whoops!

I agree with Mushy, tis post cat sensor highlighted in the trouble codes.

You can't fix the heater as it's inside the sensor. new sensor will be 60-ish

I suppose as the code description isn't ultra specific, it could be worth checking the wiring from the sensor back, just incase theres something obvious like its got caught on something or touched the exhaust, else, replace it.

yes its still the lambda probes and it looks like the two post cat lambda's from the codes
you posted as said if the heater is gone thats it

the 4motion has 4 lambda probes in all

you lucky the post cat one are easy to get at

the per cat ones have just gone on mine and they are a pig to change

you are looking at 70-101 each vw are 101.62 plus vat

Ask for lambda probes 022906262L. These are the CMS or post cat sensors.

Get OE ones, the ECU does not like sending the wrong current to pattern heater circuits!
