So my Golf is Onyx Green. Paint code LD6V. It's a bit of a pain as I've got several tins of paint that came from previous owner, one is labelled LD6V and is the wrong colour, and another is labeled D6V but is correct!? (Not to mention the wing was painted Lhasa green, so I think they had many issues with paint codes)

Does the L have any significance, or was one of them just a bad mixed colour? Wanna be sure I order the correct colour touch up.

I would hazard a guess "Lack", which is the German for "paint"
