just looking on parkers as a change of plan might see me getting a mk3 VR6 as apposed to the mk2.

apparently the MPG or a highline is 32 against the standard VR6's 28 but the highline was just a trim surely.

VR6 highline isnt 2.9 thats the corrado VR6 surely well if it is parkers is wrong.

i would of thought the highline would guzzle more also. Im in the process of buying a VR6 so interested in the difference.

it's not just the highline, it's all the OBD2 engined cars (1005 on). they run a lot cleaner than the earlier ones, thus producing more power and are more fuel effiecient.

so is it best to look for a post 1997 odb2??? i heard the 2.9 rado TB and inlet mods are only available on the ODB1 though. I dont know much about VR's in the process of trying to buy one either selling teh mk2 or just blagging the parents and the uni loan ha ha.

    nah, 1996 - 1997 models ( (N ???)P & R plates only)

The MK2 was revised in early 1996 and its around then that the OBD2 system was introducted on the VR6.
