    Hi, cheers for getting back!

Looking to upgrade the power mostly...

I want to keep the original engine running a carb(going to change the pirberg to a 32/34 weber) but want the engine rebuilt and bored out with some head work done. With a stainless mainfold on there too... Looking for increases of around 150Bhp or so.

Any suggestions and prices you could work out for me.

    Cheers

    Rich

    Hi,

We could build you a 2.0 motor but we would highly reccomend going to injection (k-jet preferably) rather than keeping it on a single carb. A 2.0 with a pack c head and cam will give around 160 bhp.

Hi, thanks for getting back

Would it be an easy job to convert from carb to injection?

I had a mechanical Breg Mk2 Gti K-Jet 3 years ago, which was really pretty quick.

But what would be involved in converting my Driver to K-jet fueling?

Would it be easier to find a complete k-jet engine setup or would it be easier converting my exisiting engine?

    Hi,

Not really easy will need to change fuel tank and lines. Then the wiring is different. It would be easier to start with a gti already.
