    I seem to remember someone discussing this a few years back, and there was a limit of something like 6ft (or maybe 10ft...) Certainly there has to be some margin so as to allow pedestrians/other road users ample room when your exiting.

    I just called and spoke to them and there is no issue with it being close to the boundary. The only thing affected is that because its within 2mtrs of the boundary it has to be less than 2.5mtrs tall and is constructed from substantially non-combustible materials.

    I phoned them at 09:38 on Friday 14th June 2013 (Just so I know) ;) lol

    I plan to build the front from bricks same as the house so i'm on the hunt for them now. Woo Hoo, quite looking forward to this!!!!
