I am getting symptoms very similiar to the fuel lifter problem in earlier posts. The only difference is when it almost stalls if i floor it a couple of times it comes back alive. I'm not sure if my mk1 has a fuel lifter as it has a mk2 engine, if not i'm assuming the ECU mmight be playing up - any suggestions in what to do would be appreciated!?
