Do i fit powerflex bushes on to the Eibach ARB, or are the bushes provided good enough. I don't intend doing any track days. Whilst im gettin dirty, i don't want to do it twice.
Eibach don't supply the end bushes, just the inner ones. you need the powerflex eye bushes (22mm) and the eye bolt to wishbone bushes too.
They (venom) say on the website that they come with new bushes. IS it worth me buying a set or powerflex uprated bushes anyway. I am doing a bit of a full strip down and rebuild on it this winter so i might as well i guess.
I would, just so you don`t have to do it all again! I fitted the poly stuf to my normal arb and they made a difference so I`ll be even more noticable with the Eibachs.
I have received an email from TSR. They say you don't need Powerflex bushes for the ARB, as the ones provided are good enough, plus Powerflex bushes will not fit the larger diameter. However they do recommend changing the Eye bolt bushes for Powerflex items, which you can get. BUT must specify that they are for an Eibach ARB, if you don't your'll get the standard size, again they wont fit. Least there honest, and don't want me to buy stuff i dont need?. I think you need PFF85-210?, somebody confirm this
you would be nuts to uprate the bar and not the bushes. even more so to uprate half the bar bushes. If it is to small drill it out. Its only polyurethane
only place that stock the Eye Bolt bushes are C&R you cant buy them new anywhere else, not even powerflex, they told me to order them from C&R also, i got a fitting kit from Eibach which did not contain the eye bolt bushes vwspares sell the eye bolts HTH Craig
