Square box sections under front floor, engine subframe, rear axle (ends)/mounting areas to chassis. Never sills, ever.
if you afford to spend the money you can use a 4 point lift. but if like me your poor then im with these 2
Woops, miss read the poll and though you were asking where you jack the car up, so I said jacking point, but I put the axle stands under the subframe. Rear beam mounts for the rear.
See,i don't see how they can be placed there and be secure. Primarily, my main concern is that the car is not gonna fall off them.
if you have voted on here can you also vote on the other two polls i have i need equal numbers!!! thanks alot, tim
Same. Except I did once put axle stands under the sill of an old car. Needless to say, I haven never done it again!
Perfectly secure...I don`t see how they can`t be... Tim: What`s the thinking behind these polls? Research for your jack idea?
Is that a rendering of the one you`re modding, or, of the modded one? Cos TBH I can`t see what`s different to a normal low entry jack.
I normally use 2 jacks and then slide 2 old wheels under the wheels that are lifted and lower the car onto them.
my axel stands are normally on the specisl mounts on the floor (not sill) or on the suspension mounts some where.. depends what car im working on,
thats just a render of the standard jack im modifing, im not going to post one of the mods to the jack, for obvious reasons! lol tim
