When I used to be with Direct Line, they would always allow me to add a friend to the insurance temporarily (e.g. 24 hours) as long as I informed them. And usually for free, providing my mate's insurance was the same cost or lower than mine, which it was. Will HIC do this also? Thought I'd ask here to save me trying to phone and get through to them...
I check HIC to add my friend for a week and they said it's 40 for a week or till the end of the policy which is 09/2004 not bad...
