when my brother was looking at the supra TT's we couldn't believe how cheap they are to insure.

Twin Turbo's are cheaper to insure than N/A's purely because they never made N/A's in the UK and they are all imports, therefore more expensive to insure.

Hi DB, not doubting the power for a minute mate, but there was definitely something else done to that car even if your mate didnt know about it. Thats reasonably serious power for an RB20 - you definietly wouldnt get that out of a stock turbo (well, you might at 1.5 bar for 10 minutes :p ), but fairly easy with the right sized turbo and uprated ECU/breathing to boot. 400hp possible on stock internals.

Sarah, what happened to the small car bit? If youve had the Supe before, then why dont you try the R32, I preferred it by a long way and its about 200kgs lighter in GTSt form. I love the old skool looks of the R32 as well, way cooler than the lumpy R33.

    Cheers
    Pad

Yeah i know, guess the small car thing went out of the window [:$]

Forgot quite how big they actually were until i stood next to one again, 4.5ft longer than the Clio to be precise. :p

I'll probably change my mind 15 times again before i actually buy something, this morning i've been looking at ITR's.

Well it 'seems' to be about the going rate to me. Condition is everything when you're looking at Integrales.

I'd take a good solid 16v over a "cheap" Evo any day.

A mate i used to work with had an Evo integrale, and basically it spends more time off the road than on it. If the bodywork wasn't failing then there would be problems with the car itself.

I've seen a few mitisuibishi's Evo 3's which are nice!

Thing is with this thread, is the point to have the fastest car over a 1/4 mile?

Get a mini and slap a hyabusa engine in one!

Just had another thought, how about a Nissan 300ZX twin turbo? Not sure on the specs etc but if you've had a Supra already then surely it'd be nice to have a change?

My car plan has slightly changed since getting the Swift. I'm going to sell everything but the Clio (i'll never sell that) and the swift, the bf has a TVR so i don't really need much more since the 4k car was just to go back and to work. The plan is to wait until next summer and probably get something Italian ;)

That could well change if someone else decides to give me a free car - Bank of America are currently giving away a New Beetle.

I demand to know what you do for a living, there's no way I'd be able to afford any of the cars you've listed! I fancy a change at the moment, the only thing stopping me is the fact that my boring 206 HDi is so cheap to run and insure. Contemplating a 300ZX non turbo as its possibly the fastest car in the same price bracket as my 206 which is insurable. Maybe I should start calling myself Miranda for the cheaper insurance [:[]
