I don't understand VW Vortex's agenda. From what I've read of the site (I only read the forum most of the time) they're usually even less critical of VW than you. Do they get money off VW USA or something?

Of course it doesn't but see how well it does in other areas.
    Also has a nice interior.
STi and Evo are minging to look at both inside and out.

I also think the R32 is minging to look at.....and overpriced.

If you could get it lookig like a GTI aniversary with a 300BHP revo remap the DSG gearbox....well, that would be another matter.

The mk3 has always been known for it's killer good looks and big power through front wheels only has always been a brilliant idea.
It would appear that 99% of the World disagrees with you.
Good job it's a free country.

You assume mine isn't paid for then? Any reason? It's my business whether it is or not but it's yet another tiresome mk1 and 2 ploy - "I may have a bloody old car but at least it's paid for".
    Big assumption and VERY sad.

If you're going to jump in all smug and try to belittle people then it's best to take some flak back.
We all have opinions after all.
Just that some of them are wrong.

If anyone is sad mate it's YOU! you seem to have to prove to everyone and their dog that the r32 is the best car on the road! Is it an inferiority complex or something?? And btw any of those cars in that review are easily more car for the money! Esp the Mitsi

Oh for god sake you lot get this crap off your chest will you - I would like an R32 but I do not think I would want to pay for one (maybee I'll steel one) --- One question for all you R32 lovers, why is Mick Clements thinking getting rid of his?

I love a good verbal joust.
Those cars are nearer 30k. That's a LOT more than an R32.
They excel in some areas but fall down in others.
I wouldn't ever consider an EVO (or Lancer or whatever) or a Scooby but think they are both a great drive.
You have a modded, resprayed Golf that's way off standard.
    I have a standard car.
    Clearly we are quite different.
What was your point by the way? That no one who gets an R32 can afford it?

The point is that you can't handle anything bad said towards the R32.

No that wasn't meant to be my point at all. But last time this kicked off did you not ask if people were jealous because you had one?? If i'm mistaken here i apologise.

I did say something like that then immediately retracted it, realising I was being daft and a little stupid. It was a lash out at yet more tiresome sniping mk1 and 2ers.
Course I can take stuff against the R32 but it's so often written by those who have not driven it and have opinions made up from what others say.
I only have opinions on cars I have driven. Other than that I will only comment on what I think of the way they look.
