R32 vs Punto 1.2

Nothing like a week's LHD Fiat Punto hire (same age Punto as my car) and some serious mileage in Portugal to make you appreciate your car on your return trip.
Used almost no fuel though

Hire for a week - Punto - 100.
Golf sized car - 220!

Punto did the job but was rather rattly and a bit scary on the limit. Veeeeerry slow though!
Squashy suspension handy on the super rutted roads out there. The R32 would have snapped in half I reckon!
LOADS of GTIs out there - mk1-mk4. Mostly mk3s.
Richgit - Probably is. Any mk2 can have any mk4 no problem

Punto's are good on fuel mind you, Rich. Better than your goddamn 20vt piece of shit.
