I have a set of 4 and was going to use them with a Lynx manifold, but there wasnt much space

it would have chopped too much out the bulkhead on my Mk2

They were originally fitted to a Mk2 Polo 1.3 with twin DCOE's

if you're not going to use them - how are you sorting out airflow and filtering into the carbs?

by dispensing with that single carb set-up, getting the hole repaired, taking the engine out and having the bay painted. Even a twin dcoe is too tight, but the single carb set-up would have had a major bulkhead mod and fed air from within the scuttle panel and under the vents in the bonnet. i felt that was too much of a bad thing to do.
