Ok so its bothered me for a little while no, but i really wanna try and do something about it now,

my rear big bumper seems to have dropped about 1/2cm all the way round, anyway i can raise it abit? Surely im not the only one with this problem, as i have noticed it alot on other golfs,

is it just the genuine bumpers that fit properly?

    cheers for any tips!

Stiff, rusty bolts --> snapped bolts when I was getting mine off. Out of interest, what size are they (I know 17mm attachment to get them undone) and where can I get 'em from?

my front bumper is spot on all the way round, after abit of fiddle on the sides,
Ghost i'd just get the bolts from a scrappy,
Well i was going to have a look at it today but weather is not too good, so going to have to wait again!

i had the same problem wiv mine, just took it off, tightened the bracket and put it back on, one thing ive noticed with alot of aftermarket bumpers is that they tend to sag a bit on the sides, ive yet to find a cure for saggy sides though.

its sagged all the way round on mine, not just the sides, i think it'll be the plastic brackets that make it sag just at the sides!,

Doubt I'll find them at the scrapyard anytime soon - these bumpers I just got are the first ones I've seen there. All the other Golfs I've seen have been MKIIIs or small bumper MKIIs. Ah well.
