Recaro cloth suppliers

Contacted my local dealer today and fabric is available
Part number 100881329

Unfortunately its 77.89 + vat per sq metre

I will update you all once vw classic dept get back to me as i seem to be getting sent round the houses, probably because i can`t read or write German! wish i`d learnt it at school

If anyone has these fitted from factory could you get in touch as i may be able to find the outer fabric but need a VIN number that has these fitted. The girl in the parts department wasn`t very helpful. She said `i don`t know you will have to search the internet Very helpful thanks!

Yeah id see what vw classic say, the website says 44 euros? but i couldn't find the English version to the website. Might be worth using Google translator to help understand some of the terms of sale.

i have them but not from factory. Mine went from the original car to our Helios Blue then to our Oak Green lol

have you spoke to any of the interior specialists as per mentioned above?
i only need the sides with new bolsters. one of the links suggest it uses the same fabric as the early tar tan interior. So might just gut that instead.

 

I used google translate lol, Cost on website is 41.18 euros but need to add shipping and poss tax

There's a guy that I've been to: Seamline Automotive - Recaro dealer and service centre. I think that the web site is being re-done at the mo but I'm sure he can get any VW / Recaro material.

I've got two centres for the front seats, just the upper sections with the recaro stitched in...one is mint and the other has a cig burn..... ..? Any good for you..?

 

What I use is the material from the back of the Recaro seat, then get a new back panel made of black vinyl (that matches the top of the door cards) to replace material used for bolsters. Make sense...???
I've done 3 sets now, and you would bave to be a right 'bobble hatter' to know it wasnt standard.....
