Recomend a good registry cleaner

    As above, for winXP Pro.

    Preferably free.

    Need to speed things up a bit, so many programs go on and off this thing for work i want to tidy everything up and get back a bit of performance.

    have you tried all the spy ware removers, they can clear alot up, if not get hijack this and that gives you a log of all progs loading at start up

    Cheers. Regclean took me to registry mechanic. That found loads of stuff, only sorted the major ones cos its un registered, but made a difference. surprisingly quicker opening some file extensions.

    Will have ago at easy cleaner and see if i can clean up the remaing 287 broken links!!!

    I run ad-aware for spyware, so that bits sorted, had a 67% defragged drive which is now sorted.

    Now its running a bit more like it used too.... :)
