So I've had my car a couple of weeks now and finally I've noticed the missing piece - the rear calipers are black but the carriers are red!, so they've obviously been changed. A quick search shows that you can buy none red rear GTI calipers so was it an option when ordered, also can somebody recommend an appropriate shade of red caliper paint/ aerosol.
ijust used hammerite metal paint, direct to rust, seems to work for me, i regurlarly get my brakes nice and hot, still looking good!
