Old man (and myself for that matter) fancy a good screwdriver set. Fed up of using screwdriver bit attachments, but not sure what brands are a good screwdriver. Need something that has a good grip and a solid head. the bottom one is the one i wanted before i got the free halfords set... if the halfords one dies ill get the clarke set they are S2 steel from memory, they are a solid shaft through the handle with a bolt on the end so you can drive it with a ratchet
Bought this set about 6 months ago: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_178431_langId_-1_categoryId_76865 So far so good! Seem to be fairly hardy and a wide selection of sizes.
ive got those drivers (the large ones), i dont feel theyve held their shape too well but they do grip fasteners well
Bought the Clarke Pro 122 from Machine Mart yesterday for just under 18. Case is a bit tacky but won't see them in use or have a good go until x-mas. They look well made with a handy nut end to tighten and also a lifetime warrenty
well timed thread..... I've been looking for a descent screwdriver set myself a trip to Machine Mart required I think, for them, and also a couple of ratchets
JCB set is the reason why my dad wants a new one because all the screwdriver heads have chip'd off and snapped.
