Just back from 8 days on Harris and Lewis - Truly fantastic and recommended to anyone who even considers going for a visit.

I have about 14GB of photos to trawl thru - Was deleting the crap as I went too. :)

I bought a new 8GB SD class 6 card just prior to leaving and in my haste forgot to format it.... Doh... [8(]

About 4GB into the card I noticed that I had some sort of filesystem or FAT corruption and immediately stopped using the card. My thinking was that I could recover about 100-150 or so 'suddenly 'missing' photos when I got home- lost some real corkers too. [:^(]

I've tried undelete plus but it cannot see the missing data/photos at all and surely the binary data should still physically exist on the card and I guess I need something a touch more low level or appropriate.

Does anyone have any idea of any software that may save my missing gems?

All of my 342 recovered raw files are truncated to 10Mb [:^(]

EDIT: Figured this out and recovered the best part of 450 piccies!
