Spotted a mint red mk3 GTI in Daventry, Northants this evening, by the Daventry hotel, turning left towards Rugby on the A361,
Was absolutely gleaming and running non standard rims, pos 6 or 7 spoke.
Just wanted to say if you are on here, NICE CAR.

Got a mint original mk2 8v big bumper, multi concourse winner, 1st in class at edition 38 last summer.
    A silver, 3 dr 20 valve turbo mk4 with RSD 195bhp map.
And a white and yellow bay window camper .
What about you? where are you in Dav?

    Yeah, thats the one.
its one of the sweetest mk3s i have seen, paintwork was gleaming. I was just coming over the roundabout in my silver mk4 20v turbo.
I would love to have a closer look if your about this way sometime.
    Cheers,
    burty.

No worries, theres a couple of guys I know around here, you'll have to come to the next rolling road day with us at stealth racing Southam. This was the last one.. (my car is in the middle somewhere on the vid) :)

It only emulates what a car would do on a normal road, perfectly safe as long as all your oil and collant is up to scratch along with tyre pressures. I've never heard of a car going bang on a rolling road before

Yeah, true if its a reputable company, i have seen a couple of mickey mouse portable ones that use useless cooling fans that wouldnt blow a feather over, seen a vauxhall omega blow itself to bits, smoke and oil every where, probably as you say, not down to the rolling road set up, more than likely down to the upkeep of the car.
