I went to the service at the War Memorial this morning, as I do every year. Untouched, other than cropped, this was taken during the two minute silence. You can see by the foreboding sky that a terrible storm was brewing up, then just for a moment or two, a little gap in the storm cloud let the sun through. Being fanciful, it was almost like some god was acknowledging the Act of Remembrance. Then I remembered that the same god, if he exists, also allowed the atrocities of two world wars to happen ..............
