I need to get the speedo drive off my old speedo cable and onto my new cable - how is it attached, and how do i get it off without damaging it??
take the cable off the gearbox hold the cable in one hand & plastic drive in the other & pull! i think you can get a red or a white drive cog. hope this helps?
also be carefull not to loose the little spring clip (semi-circular bit of wire) from on the end of the cable as this stops it falling off and jamming you out of third gear for a while.....
