Evening, i have recently noticed a crack in one of the engine bay pipes going from the main block into the dash for the heater matrix, im having trouble finding it and was wondering if anyone knows the part name or has one spare? the pipe is wider on the end at the block and smaller going into the fitting for the dash. i'm unsure if the part is from a MK3 golf or a MK2 golf as the engine is a 2.0 from a MK3. see picture.

    cheers!

for a mk2 it should be 191819371E and by the looks of it that is the one you have
it will come too long as it's been cut to add that valve in that was part of a recall

I'm using mk3 hoses in mine, straight fit and route nicer. plus they are uncut so can be used to delete the bypass valves once you replace the matrix with a new mk3/4 unit

mk2 one should be uncut as well as so he could do away with the valve

the one l list is the return

small block mk2 use a mk3 return 1H0819373A so don't doubt that other mk3 ones fit

of course! think about how much co it takes to build a modern car, and make new parts. recycling is good for everyone. and dont get me started on any hybrid or purely electric car 'it produces no co!' eesh

The average modern car uses the same amount is co2 in 60 to 80k as it dose to make it in the first place

The more you recycling that the better I guess
