I have replaced my front engine mount and I want to change the other two, I think can see how to do the engine one but not clear on the gearbox one. Could anyone help with a quick guide please? 1999 8v Gti, thanks.
Unscrew top bolt, lift gearbox, unscrew the other two bolts and replace mount. If there is no room, remove the gearbox mount bracket(not very easy), if its a mk2/3. Or instead of removing the gearbox mount bracket, you can drop the subframe on that side.
