Im copying this floating wall idea that someone has done but in my lounge, i'm near on choosing the paint stage and I don't like the colour this guy has used...can anyone try a few colours for me, I've seen similar in white and it just doesn't work. A few colours I do like are: (but I'm open to suggestions!) I'll be forever in your debt! Or teach me how to do it myself!
Ive seen that build thread, Its amazing. Would love to do something like it but dont have the right design lounge for it. I would go with the last colour, Kinda like a stone grey Have you got all the rope lights & stuff for it?
Picking up the rope lights in the morning...depending on if we go camping depends if I get anything done this week or not! Gotta lay the wood floor too How it stands at the moment:
Mate thanks very much I owe you one....on the other hand you've just created another row as my mrs hates that middle green one and I really like it! God knows!!
a few more colours: If you want something different, pick the closest colour (i've bodged) then tell me if you want it less/more saturated (colour) and/or darker/lighter and i'll try and get the colour matched...
Sweet dude, sorry just got back from a nightmare camping trip, managed to view these on my phone. Thanks so much again. All the colours I like my mrs doesn't! Grr. Hmm, dya reckon it would look gash two tone? Like the med and dark grey?
I'd personally keep it single colour, infact, i'm now looking to do something similar with my dad's house now whilst we're doing it up
dude, that's like the easiest thing you can do on photoshop except draw a line 2nd batch I apologize for as I only spent 5 minutes on these, I deleted the original pdf file, but it get's the point accross. Like I say if there's a specific shade I haven't got, then give me directions and i'll try and match it...
No like you say mate it gives me a great idea for how it may look, just not sure on any more colours at the mo. Thanks again mate I really do appreciate it...feel like chipping you some beer money! I'll look forward to posting some photos of the finished product, timber is being delivered this weekend hopefully.
you're in luck, I quit drinking 2 months ago, wouldn't want me relapsing now would we dude, it's 10 minutes work, If you've got photoshop, I could teach you in 10 minutes...
I have mate but its on my desktop pc which is packed away due to this diy disaster zone / lounge and hallway re-furb!
