So much for the pioneering! I'm dead impressed with it anyway, looks booshank!

Visors and grab handles are going to be painted black possibly. A, B and C pillars are being trimmed in black suede as soon as it arrives :)

Aye but i'm always one to be a bit different. I was just showing people that it can be done with good results rather than trying to get everyone to do theirs weird colours!

I did contemplate doing mine, however having just ripped out my DIY retrim door cards (it looked absolute gash) I thought no..

I would like to do my pillers in a nice black suede though... who did you use on eBay? I got my stuff from a shop called Fabricaz

Not looked at them really to see how difficult it would be. Parts would have to be sprayed anyway so it might just be better to spray all of it

Pick up my full leather interior and door cards with new carpets on monday ;)

Got all my sound deadening mats now, so i'm going to rip the lot out, sound proof the whole car, clean and fit new carpets, clean treat and fit leather interior...

Red LEDs will be here any day so i'm changing all the switch lights to red.

At some point i'll get round to fitting the mk4 gear knob and steering wheel i have kicking around in the garage.

Add all that to the plasma backlit dials and the pimping red roof and it'll look wicked [:D]

They do if you grind off a bit, drill some holes and glue the clockspring to the wheel..

The LEDS you need are 5mm 12V bulbs. I got mine from Maplins. The 'SB' are super bright ones which are apparently just about right as standard are too dull. They do not do them in blue, i've got red which are cool.

The dials I have are plasma backlit dials and i got these ones...

    Clicky

They're awesome, look really really good. You get a dimmer switch with it but you can bin it as they will dim with the standard dimmer on the dash as long as you wire it to the top of the clocks where the two tracks run accross for the LEDs

I'll do a step by step guide tomorrow, I got 10 LEDs through the post yesterday with a new soldering iron but i'm at work today. I'll get some pics of the inside of the car at night too so you can see how funky the dials and switches are
